This privacy policy sets out how “Invest East Lindsey Limited T/as Kingfisher Caravan Park” uses and protects any information that you give us when using our website. How we use information

We only collect, use and hold data that we need to be able to provide you with the service you are requesting. If you are purchasing a holiday or holiday home from us then we will collect your data as part of the contract you have with us and in order to manage your time with us on the park and this is our lawful basis for processing your data; in the performance of the contract we have with you.

You do not have to give us any of this data but if you do not then you may not be able to access our products and services. It would also be extremely difficult for us to be able to provide you with an optimal level of customer service.

We only work with companies who take the same amount of care with customer data as we do.

Where possible we also anonymise data before sharing it and use aggregated data where it makes sense. We only share individual data where there is not alternative.

13. Keeping your data

We will only hold on to your data for as long as it is needed to provide you with the service you are requesting or to meet legal regulatory data retention requirements. This is currently 6 years plus the current financial year. We perform regular reviews of all our data we hold and assess whether it still needs to be kept. If there is no valid reason for us to keep it, we will delete or destroy it.

14. Marketing messages

We tailor our marketing messages so we only contact you things of interest to you. These can be emails, mail, text or telephone. You can opt out of receiving messages at any time by letting us know your full name, postcode, email address and phone number.

Like many other companies, we engage in online advertising. This is to keep you updated on all the exciting things going on in our business including offers and promotions and to help you easily find the products and services you are interested in.

We do this using a range of digital marketing exchanges and online advertising techniques like web beacons, pixels, ad tags, cookies, mobile identifiers and specific services like Facebook’s Customer Audience Service.
